Favorite Courses

Moraine State Park. Butler County, PA. This course has just about everything you could imagine. The lead course designer, J Gary Dropcho, designed the course with multiple tees, and each hole has two or three pin placements as well. They have true par fours and fives that keep even the top pro on their toes the entire round. I always love making it over to play that course!

Brent Hambrick Memorial. Westerville, OH. This was the course I started playing disc golf on and the course that helped me develop my game as a kid. Over the years the course has been enhanced and had additional holes and pin placements added, however the core of what Brent Hambrick designed is still in place. It will always have a special place in my heart and it is always a joy to play!

Your go-to Driver?

The Nuke has been my go to driver since it was released. I love the speed and predictability the Nuke has brought to my bag. I have a few of these in the bag with different stability levels. The Nuke has also been a great forehand disc for me. I have been using the ESP plastic primarily, however I also have Z plastic as well. I would have to say over the past couple of years, I used the BigZ Nuke more than any other disc in my bag! If you have not tried them out, please give it a shot. As I said earlier, the predictability and distance you can get with this disc has had me hooked!

How about your main Mid-range?

I am obsessed with the ESP FLX Buzzz and I usually bag two of them just to be safe. They are such a straight flying disc that I don't see myself taking it out of my bag ever. It's the best mid-range disc in the game, try it out and you will see. Put it on the line you need, and it will do it's thing!

What about Your Putter?

For the last 15 years or so, I have been putting with the discontinued APX Swirl. They are a little hard to find, however the APX is still being produced in Jawbreaker plastic and it is very similar. I will move to the Jawbreaker plastic when my stock has expired. This putter flies very straight and that is what I prefer. I also prefer the softer plastic in my putters so I have stuck with them. If you are looking for a straight flying putter, give the Jawbreaker APX a try!
