Team Discraft's Recap from The Open at Austin

The first DGPT+ event of the season brought elite competition, highlight-reel moments, and a major statement from Team Discraft.

Holyn Handley Leads the Charge

Holyn Handley delivered a weekend to remember, taking 1st place at The Open at Austin and notching her fourth career Elite Series DGPT victory! Her performance was a showcase of power, precision, and control on one of the tour’s more demanding layouts.

Holyn’s win marks her first of the 2025 season, and after 2 consecutive Second-Place finishes, this proves she’s ready to contend at the top all year long.

McBeth Turns Back the Clock

Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Paul McBeth reminds us why he's one of the greatest of all time. In Round 3, McBeth fired a 1095-rated (-12) masterpiece—catapulting him 37 spots up the leaderboard in a single day. It was one of the highest-rated rounds of the tournament and a glimpse of McBeast mode. While he ultimately finished T7, his Round 3 performance made it clear: Paul McBeth is able to compete at the highest level.

Ezra Robinson’s Sunday Surge

One of the biggest moves of the tournament came from Ezra Robinson, who jumped five spots on Championship Sunday thanks to a bogey-free (-12) final round. Ezra’s calm composure and aggressive shot-making fueled his rise to 4th place overall, showing once again that he’s a threat on any course—and when he's dialed in, few can match his scoring power.
