Ricky Wysocki has been a prominent figure in professional disc golf for over the past decade. Beginning his professional career in 2009, Wysocki instantly found success. His first year in MPO included 2x victories, 9x Top 5 results with only 2x finishes outside the Top 10. Following this impressive feat, in 2010, Ricky became the 2010 PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Champion, however, his accomplishments would not stop there. Â
His early promise was evident when he was named PDGA Rookie of the Year in 2011, followed by Male Player of the Year in 2012. These achievements helped usher in a new era for disc golf, as Wysocki’s skills grew, he positioned himself as a top contender on the tour, battling week after week with the likes of Paul McBeth, Brian Schweberger and Simon Lizotte.
However, in 2016 and 2017, Ricky set himself apart with back-to-back PDGA Pro World Championship victories, cementing his status as one of the sport’s elites. These wins were just the beginning, as he went on to secure six Major Championship titles, furthering his legacy as one of the most accomplished players in disc golf history.
